Geographical and Natural Conditions:

Located in the southernmost Taiyuan proper, Qingxu County is 30 kilometers to Taiyuan . It is rich in water resources, with 12 tributaries of river. The Fenhe River runs through the central area from the northeast lo the southwest. The Donghu Lake with area of 30 hectares is situated at the centre of county. The County covers a total area of 609 square kilometers, including 167 square kilometers of hill and mountain areas. The land located in the basin of Fenhe river and Xiaohe river accounts for 70 per cent of the total, where are of' Jinzhong plain. Transportation anti Communication are very convenient in the territory for its complete traffic network. Qingxu was known as Gengyang in ancient times, with a history of more than 2500 years, where is home town of Mr. Luo Guanzhong - famous classical literature master in China .
